Park Place is a 78-unit residential-rental development in the West Elsdon neighborhood of Chicago, and a dynamic partnership of Brinshore and Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council (BYNC). BYNC is one of America's oldest community organizations which provides social services and programming for the residents of Park Place. The 3-flat, 6-flat and 9-unit buildings comprising the development have been meticulously designed to complement the architectural style of the community. Park Place's spacious apartments feature state-of-the-art amenities, dishwashers, in-unit washers and dryers, ceramic tile in baths, ceiling fans and high quality flooring. The community building contains a management office, community room, computer lab, and exercise room. Designed as a sustainable community, the environmentally friendly features at Park Place include a green roof, community garden, high insulation values in windows, walls and roofing, permeable pavement, and downspouts which will be directed into green areas.
