Park Place is a 78-unit residential-rental development in the West Elsdon neighborhood of Chicago, and a dynamic partnership of Brinshore and Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council (BYNC). BYNC provides social services and programming for the residents of Park Place. The 3-flat, 6-flat and 9-unit buildings comprising the development have been meticulously designed to complement the architectural style of the community. Park Place's spacious apartments feature state-of-the-art amenities, dishwashers, in-unit washers and dryers, ceramic tile in baths, ceiling fans and high quality flooring. The community building contains a management office, computer room, and a dance floor, also used as an exercise space. Designed as a sustainable community, the environmentally friendly features at Park Place include a community garden, high insulation values in windows, walls and roofing, permeable pavement, and downspouts which will be directed into green areas.
