Use: Mixed Income Residential Rental
Cost: $45 million
Status: Complete Fall 2009

Named one of Multifamily Executive Magazine’s 2011 Projects of the Year in the mixed-income category, Savoy Square is part of the redevelopment of the former Robert Taylor public housing project. The 120 apartments in this traditional neighborhood setting blend brick construction, intricate design details and lush landscaping with shallow setbacks and few curb cuts to create a beautiful, pedestrian-friendly urban environment. Savoy Square’s 5,200 square foot community center and management office is augmented by a new two-acre urban farm, a partnership of Brinshore Development and Chicago Botanic Garden’s acclaimed Windy City Harvest project.
