Jolene Saul joined Brinshore in July 2016. She was most recently the Senior Director for PRA, Acquisitions, & Special Initiatives at the Chicago Housing Authority where she was responsible for planning and implementing efforts to provide long-term affordable housing opportunities throughout Chicago. Prior to joining CHA, she oversaw an $18 million Neighborhood Stabilization Program grant for the City of Evanston, which returned foreclosed and abandoned housing and a vacant former industrial property to productive use. She previously worked for S.B. Friedman Development Advisors and the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development. At these various organizations, Jolene has played key roles in facilitating affordable housing development, providing strategic and policy recommendations for economic development initiatives, creating opportunities for minority and women owned businesses, and fostering investment in low-income neighborhoods.
Jolene received a Master of Urban Planning degree from New York University and Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Expository Writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is a member of Lambda Alpha International, the Urban Land Institute, and Women in Planning + Development. She is also an alumna of the Chicago Urban League’s IMPACT Leadership Development Program, mentor for LINK Unlimited, and member of the 826CHI Associate Board.
