Charlene joined Brinshore Development in the Evanston office to support development work in the Midwest including RAD conversions along with supporting national HUD Choice Neighborhood Initiative projects. She brings a broad breadth of experience in affordable housing from design through lease up and management.
Experience
Prior to joining Brinshore, Charlene spent 12 years working at LUCHA, a non-profit community housing development organization in Chicago. Her role there included development of affordable housing, leading home repair and weatherization programs, and compliance and asset management of the organization’s portfolio. This included the development of the first PHIUS multifamily property in Chicago. Prior to that, Ms. Andreas worked as an architect for over 18 years with a focus on community driven and sustainable design with projects in Chicago, New York City, and across the Midwest.
Education
Charlene holds a five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree from Ball State University in Indiana.
